Building CRM knowledge and earn credentials

Have you ever wanted to develop any additional skills? learn more about topics you are passionate about or just simply earn some credentials to improve your CV to impress your future employers. I will share with you my experience of using the free service of trailhead by Salesforce where I embark on three different courses on topics of my choosing.

1. The first module I have picked was on Generative AI because I find AI absolutely fascinating and I don't know much about it!

When I hear the term AI I immediately associate it with applications such as Chat GPT and SnapChat AI which I have learned that they are named generative ai's and within this module I have gained great insight on what tasks these AI's can achieve.

 The experience feel like a game where I want to learn these courses for days! And to top it off it has a fun little quiz to challenge you on what you have learned which I am proud to say I passed first try!  

One of the concerns I have learned about is that generative ai can basically create realistic looking profiles with convincing human like pictures on media platforms that can message and hold conversations with you which I find to be scary because what can they learn with this data? 

2. Automotive Cybersecurity

I picked this module because i am really passionate about cars and technology so combing both of these made it an easy pick for me!

Cybersecurity in vehicles shares similarities with traditional IT but it must be taken more seriously because meanwhile cyber attacks can be damaging they do not lead to any immediate physical harm. This point really got me thinking on how in the future your car can be hacked so learning about the ways of identifying common attacks and vulnerabilities was very insightful.

3.Emotional Intelligence

This is a topic I'm not really experienced in but I believe that emotional intelligence is always important for the workplace and employers are actively seeking for it.

In the current environment where the focus is entirely on the analytic side of the brain especially as students, it is also important to become aware of the emotional side. I learned that if I invest in my emotional intelligence it can allow me to enhance my effectiveness as a team leader and member. 

What stood out in this module is how it explains which parts of the brain are behind different behaviours, and that's pretty cool! It also teaches useful techniques for mindfulness, like controlled breathing and paying attention to what's around you. And guess what? They really work!
